Created for the Work In Progress Exhibiton at the Hermitage Museum & Gardens by the Youth Campers as art as social commentary. Techniques include Image transfers, hand cut stencils, relief prints, newspaper articles, and acrylic paint.
Students in the ForKIds Afterschool Program created square heart designs using the work of artist Peter Max as inspiration. These were then curated and composed for the 2021 art auction.

This giant tessellation was inspired by the work of street artist Thank You X. Participants at the S.A.Y. Festival each created a square which placed together shows the diversity and beauty of the community!
Graffiti style mural painted live at LAUNCH Community Event in Park Place, Norfolk, Va. This is one side of an interactive artwork; the other side has prayers written by members of the community.
In response to an increase in violence in Park Place the Launch theme in 2019 became “Prayers for Park Place”. This interactive work featured a live mural painting with a prayer wall for the community on the reverse side.
The flip side of the painting, Prayers for Park Place shows the written prayers created by the people in the community.
PPCLC children had an opportunity to contribute to this Public Art Project, “A Place in Time” created by artist Ken McCall. Students were on hand at the dedication ceremony where they presented their hopes for the future to be included in the time capsule.
We brought out our puzzles pieces to create this project with the Faith Inclusion Network. Over 60 adults with disabilities joined in to create these self portraits which when assembled made a beautiful whole.
